We have swing migrated a SBS 2003 to SBS 2011 Standard but are getting this error in the event log.

I do not have the old server still connected and the removal was problematic to say the least so I cannot create a text file  NTFRS_CMD_FILE_MOVE_ROOT and solve

Any ideas?

Hi

You could try:

To fix the above issue do the following:

 1. Open CMD
 2. type           net stop ntfrs
 3. Start->RUN     regedit
 4. Locate the following subkey in the registry:
 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\NtFrs\Parameters\Backup/Restore\Process at Startup
 5. In the right pane, double click BurFlags.
 6. In the Edit DWORD Value dialog box, type D4 and then click OK.
 Quit Registry Editor, and then switch to the Command box.
 7. In the Command box, type net start ntfrs
 8. Quit the Command box.

Now what happens?

What happens is I give you maximum points and send you a virtual hi five!

Got a 13566 and then a 13553 confirming that the server had been added to the replica set!
