Hello,

I am a delphi programmer and i have a Visual studio C# developer sitting next to me.

I want him to build a simple app that accepts a html request and sends back a pdf file as the response.

I know how to do it in Delphi but how should he do it in Visual Studio 2010/C#.  What app type etc.

/Richard

If you just need a simple test rig then you could do it as a console app, utilizing a HttpListener (Ref: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.net.httplistener(v=vs.90).aspx)

For something more permanent you'd be looking at a Web/WCF service. A website would work too, but for what you are describing, a service sounds more logical.
