Dear All,

I have deployed two Exch 2013 with CAS/MBX. I have 600 Mailbox's in my current production Exchange 2010 server.

currently all my OWA , outlook , Mobility is accessing the Exch 2010 using mail.mydomain.com.

I have exported the current certificate from Exch 2010 and imported to both Exch 2013 servers.  I will be moving my mailbox's  100 mailbox daily and I need them to continue access the current mail facilities ( OWA. Mobility etc ) using the same URL as mail.mydomain.com.

can someone advise what is required to have the same Certificate name or any advise

Thanks

The usual method is to point the existing URL at the Exchange 2013 CAS role holder, then remove the external URL from the Exchange 2010 servers. Exchange 2013 will then proxy the traffic across to Exchange 2010 as required.
The same goes for Outlook Anywhere and ActiveSync.

This is explained in the TechNet documentation for CAS co-existence.

Hi Simon,
Means the the public DNS should point to exchange 2013 instead of 2010?

Correct.
Exchange downgrades easily, it doesn't upgrade. Point it to the highest version and let Exchange sort it out.
