We are running server 2012 backup on our 2012 Hyper V with 1 2012 guest..

When go into backup and try to schedule a new job or click on the main backup job it goes into endless please wait. If I click on a noon job that does a small directory I can get into the job, and if I create a new 1 time job I can create a new job so I am running a backup right now. I have restarted the server. The messages for local backup state Completed with warnings

I also get when clicking on the details:

BLBMMC.DLL

MMC has detected an error in a snap in and will unload it. with the option to report this error to Microsoft and then shut down MMC or unload the snap in and continue running.

Any ideas on a solution?

How can I delete and reload the backup program?

Thanks
 Doug

Just remove it in server Features (windows server backup), restart and reinstall the feature.
Hope that helps
