Lync 2013 group chat

I have a user who is on Lync Basic 2013 V 15.0.4220 and when she is involved in a group chat (with say 3 or 4 people)  and tries to close the window it opens blank chat windows for the number of users that we involved in the group chat.  So she will get 3 or 4 chat windows that are just blank white and you can't close them out.  You have to sign out of Lync and then back in before those windows will go away.  We have downloaded a update to version 15.0.4551 and it still happens on her machine.  I have only 1 other user who has complained out this issue also.  We have uninstalled and reinstalled and it sill happens.  Any idea's on how to fix this?  Thanks

I wouldn't expect this to be a Lync related more than it would be an OS issue! It could be a virus or malware.

Have you scanned the User's PC for any infection?

Try closing the Lync client and delete everything inside this folder below, then restart Lync and see if this issue occurs again?
