add server 2012 domain controller to 2008 r2 foundation edition

We are running two server 2008 foundation editions and need to add server 2012 ass a third domain controller; eventually all foundation servers will be replaced. Is this supported?
Will 2008 foundation server allow me to run the 2012 forest and domain prep?

Yes, you can run the schema changes on foundation and add 2012 as an additional DC.

I would like documentaion if possible , all I see in Technet is migration
This is Foundation Server, not SBS or Standard

Since foundation is an OEM only product, you will find very little documentation. But the documentation for migrating roles on standard editions, including ADDS, still applied as long as you comply with foundation's restrictions (user count, trusts, etc.)

That may be a problem, we have exceeded to 15 user limit

Best to migrate sooner instead of later then. That shouldn't prevent a migration, but it means you can't keep your foundation in play.
