After logging into the Meraki dashboard it says :-<br />

<i>There are no Meraki devices in this network. If you <u>add some </u>we can help you configure them</i><br />

But when I select the 'add some' link, the devices I added previously by their serial numbers and license show up, but the devices are not displaying as active in the network. Does Meraki need to work with POE switches, I have a feeling its the network switches which need upgrading ?

Meraki Devices

The Windows operating systems have distinct methodologies for designing and implementing networks, and have specific systems to accomplish various networking processes, such as Exchange for email, Sharepoint for shared files and programs, and IIS for delivery of web pages. Microsoft also produces server technologies for networked database use, security and virtualization.

Windows Networking

A switch is a device that filters and forwards packets of data between LAN segments. Switches operate at the data link layer or the network layer of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Reference Model and therefore support any packet protocol. LANs that use switches to join segments are called switched LANs or, in the case of Ethernet networks, switched Ethernet LANs. A hub is a connection point for devices in a network. Hubs are commonly used to connect segments of a LAN. A hub contains multiple ports; when a packet arrives at one port, it is copied to the other ports so that all segments of the LAN can see all packets.
