update sub table into master table

Hi Experts excel 2007

I have a sub table in worksheet 2 column a2 and b2...a1 and b1 have header...
which I want to update into a master table worksheet stay...same data range....without altering the current records in the master table just updating with the new values from wrksht2...

All wotksheets same workbook.   What's the best way to update in master table

Question is not clear enough, Where is the master table situated, can you supply us an example?

Master table is in worksheet stay...same workbook as sheet 2..

so the SubTable (column a2 and b2...) is a copy of the master table... in that case, you just type new info in the reqired cells, it's a copy so the master will not change or do I miss something?
