Outlook - Calender Enteries still showing

Hi

In outlook I have an occuring calendar entry that I can't seem to delete from outlook.
The outlook account is synched via ActiveSync to iPad & iPhone, the meetings have been removed from there but not outlook.

-I have tried turning off cache mode
-I have also tried outlook switch cleanfreebusy
-If I setup the outlook account on another machine the items are still showing in the calendar
-I've logged in as the meeting organiser to cancel the meeting (Which cleared it from iPhone etc)

It may be stuck in the calendar for some reason. Usually starting outlook from the run line like this will fix it:

outlook /cleanreminders

If that doesn't work, log in to the mailbox through the outlook web client and delete it there.

Tried that /cleanreminders and also checked it's still showing in OWA
Can't delete it from outlook or owa, doesn't give any errors - just nothing happens.

The same item is showing maybe 10times in a row - so same entries for same time just x10.

I've cancelled the meeting, still won't remove from Calendar.

Account is snyced via active sync with an iphone&ipad, item doesn't show there.
If I setup users account on another pc, the above is still an issue. so it's not local to one machine.

I've noticed the meeting now says

"This item was not completely updated during the last server synchronization."

Flagged all meetings with a new Category, then changed the view of the calendar to list, grouped all my "To be Deleted" meetings, and deleted them. This had to be done a few times, but cleared everything in the end.
