Google chrome will not open
So strange. This morning, Google Chrome will not open. Click on it and nothing. Heven't tried rebooting yet because I'm running a defrag.
Any ideas?

After the defrag is finished, try a system restore (boot up in safe mode with command prompt and type rstrui.exe).
In the past, I have seen this as a result of a corrupted local profile*. In order to resolve the issue, the user profile on the PC had to be deleted and recreated. If you're on a domain, this is fairly straightforward, so long as you back up any data stored locally for that account on the PC.
If not, you'll want to back up all your files, create a new user on the PC, then delete the old user.
*This can be tested by attempting to open Chrome while logged on as a different user account. It should also be noted that, in the case I saw, Chrome appeared to flicker open then close (or crash) immediately.
