O365 and Yammer Enterprise - wrong domain?


More than a year ago someone at another organization (call it abc.com) set up yammer and some of our staff joined up to participate in discussions related to a larger initiative...

We have just begun the process of deploying O365 with E1 and E3 licenses - which include yammer - and we have added our domain (call it xyz.com)  in O365 to Yammer (in the admin portal) - but when a user from our domain requests to join, they get the yammer activation e-mail for the other domain, not ours...?

How do I get the yammer e-mail confirmation and setup to use xyz.com instead of abc.com?

Seems you need to request a domain merge, and you need to contact Yammer support for this. Open a SR from the portal to contact them.

They are working on this now - actually in their words - a 'de-merge'...
