Issue with Bitcoin Miner

I have tried setting up both CG Miner and BFG Miner with my Asic Block Erupter but I have had issues with both. When setting up BFG Miner, I go to "Properties" to change the target for the shortcut, I get an error saying that the directory I entered is not valid. I read some more about the setup and couldn't find anything that helped, so I tried to use CG Miner instead. The problem I'm having with an error message in the command prompt. It reads: USB init, open device failed, err -12 you need to install a WinUSB driver for - AMU device 2:4 I have installed the driver that makes Block Erupters show up as COM devices, but I don't know what this error is talking about.CG Miner screenshot

This issue has been raised on the butterflylabs forums, here. The suggested solution is to use a tool called Zadig to set the driver for the device to WinUSB:
...use a tool called Zadig to set the driver:
libwdi - Browse /zadig at SourceForge.net (Direct Download: Download libwdi from SourceForge.net)

This allows you set the driver for the device to be WinUSB which is usually
required to make it work if you're having problems

With Zadig, you may need to run it as administrator and if your device is
plugged in but you cannot see it, use the Menu: Options -> List All Devices

You must also make sure you are using the latest libusb-1.0.dll supplied
with cgminer (not the libusbx version)

When you first switch a device over to WinUSB with Zadig and it shows that
correctly on the left of the Zadig window, but it still gives permission
errors, you may need to unplug the USB miner and then plug it back in

Bat File: cgminer -o http://Yourpoolofchoice.com:youportnumber -u Username -p password --disable-gpu

You may need SDK drivers, well I did with my laptop but it is mining well at the moment.

I don't know if you've seen these Block Erupter setup instructions, but they look pretty good too; perhaps they'll help?: http://bitcoinbtc.net/usb-asicminer-setup-how-to-setup-usb-asicminer-block-erupter/

I note that this post in bitcointalk also says to unplug the device before running Zadig.
