Hi,

I'd like to be able to get the text that was clicked on in a crystal report? Basically if the user clicks on a field, I'd like to retrieve the text from that field. I know there's no direct"Option" for this in crystal but I'm wondering if there's a workaround?

I have the latest version of crystal report which I use with vb.net

Thank you,

Where do you want to do the detection?
In Crystal or your application?

Hi,

I'd like a way to tell my application what has been selected in my crystal report

I'm using crystal report viewer on a vb.net form; basically I'd like it that when a user clicks on a field in the report, the text from that field is sent to my vb.net app.

I found the answer,

In the clickPage event for the report, simply write :

MsgBox(e.ObjectInfo.Text.ToString())
