Hi expert's excel 2007

I need a formula to remove the 000 values at the start of  a number....

so if we have...
1. 00097578678 then return 97578678
2. 0056478 then return 56478
3. 0767676 then 767676

the first values in column a2 and result in b2

Assuming the problem is because the source numbers are formatted as text, a simple

=A2*1

should do the necessary conversion for you.

Thanks
