HP t610 with HP Laserjet P1102 not working in RDC
Hi,
we've recently installed 2 HP t610 thin clients with Windows embedded (7) OS. I can't get the HP Laserjet P1102 printers working when connected to the terminal server via RDC. I tried installing the drivers, which succeeds. So does printing a test page. But when connecting to the terminal server they simply don't show up. Redirecting/local resource sharing check boxes have all been checked, but no use.
Has anyone had any luck getting this type of printer to work with the t610, or am I missing something else?

Are you using the correct driver on the TS? 64 vs. 32? The server probably needs the 64bit driver regardless of what the client is using.

Hi,
I've installed drivers for the HP Laserjet P1102 on the TS, which according to HP work for both 32 and 64-bit Windows. Unfortunately, this hasn't solved the problem. I'm looking for other clues to troubleshoot USB-redirected devices not working in Remote Desktop sessions, because we manage quite a few thin clients.
Any other takers?
Best regards
