Hi..
I have a public key that I installed on the key ring.
Trying to decrypt a file and get the following
Decryption failed : secret key not available

What am I missing?  How do I get the secret key. I have no secret keys

gpg --list-secet-keys

thanks inadvance

You cannot decrypt an encrypted message/file using a public key.

in gpg, you use the private key to decrypt or sign.
you use the public key to encrypt or verify signatures.

so, with the public key only, you could encrypt more files, but not decrypt any of them.
