SQL to Excel template

Hi,

We have an Excel template with logo, headers, etc...

Is there a way to "assign" values to specific cells in excel?  thx

In Excel you can create a named range, which SQL / SSIS can recognize when exporting data to Excel.

that's ok....I checked how to create name range in excel, which is cool...

when you are free, can you point me to some examples that can grab data from SQL?  thx

If we're talking single cells then yest most exports to Excel methodology will have a parameter where you can assign whatever to a single cell.

If we're talking assigning a set of data to multiple cells, then the named range usually works.
