When doing a sharepoint  2010 Farm backup, everything shows in process and it is stuck in "in process" status.  How can I resolve it?  Please see the attached file.  Databases are on SQL Server 2008 R2 with SP2 installed.

P.S. After deleting the backup jobs it still shows that it is in process.  Checked all the permissions as well.  Backup directory has the correct permissions.

Thank  you

How did you delete the backup jobs?  From the Job Definition Page?

yes, I  did and after stoping and starting services, was able to get the backup finished with error. Please see the attached file. It shows that search Application services  1 failed to backup in the log file.

So  How can I fix  the "search Application services  1" backup failure issue?

Thank  you
