Hi,

What is Vcl.Bind.DBEngExt and why is it being added to the uses statement in my Data Module in a Fire Monkey application?

As far as I can tell I don't have any VCL components in that unit, nor anyplace in the application.

As a result whenever I build the application targeting Android or IOS Vcl.Bind.DBEngExt is being flagged as undefined.

There is a Fmx.Bind.DBEngExt in t3he uses statement that is defined but the VCL one still keeps getting automatically added.

You probably click in property window on Live Binding by mistake. If you don't needed then delete it from uses.

I may have clicked on something by mistake.  My mouse lately is doubled clicking when I single click.

I delete the uses clause but it keeps automatically adding it back when I save or compile.

Check for some of possible Livebinding components in Data Module container.
(resize window - maybe is something hidden)

Actually, after removing the objects from the data module one at a time it turned out to be the LiveBindings object. Since I didn't have any live binding in the data module I deleted it and all is good now.
