What does "A Request to establish a connection with the transaction manager was denied" mean

Hello I have the above error when trying to ApplyUpdates() to a ClientDataSet in Delphi XE5 using a Datasnap server client connected to a MS SQL Server database.  Can anyone explain what this means and how I might fix it

is there a local service on the windows pc ?
Distributed Transaction Coordinater

Is it running ? or enabled to run ?

Having it running, or restarting it may solve the problem

Hi Geert, thank you for responding.  I don't think its anything to do with the local pc as the App is running on an Android tablet and the message occurs on the datasnap server.

I have found the cause now, I changed the primary key field on the table from a BigInt to Int and the problem disappeared.
