When I dealt with several software in my PC (Win 7), all of the icons on desktop suddenly became much bigger and it can not go back to its original size even though i regulated screen resolution and restore system points. Any one can give some suggestions ? Thank you !

Can you also not make them smaller using <ctrl>+mousewheel ?

Click on an empty spot on your desktop and <ctrl>+scroll to resize the icons...

This link does work on my case.
Here is what i did before. When I dealt with some software, a pup box jumped up asking if increasing..., I clicked it(agreed it), and then all icons on my screen increased a lot. After I did it according to what you said, all the icons on screen immediately decreased to originally, but later i found a lot icons in tool bar are still bigger than before. I tried doing system restore, but i failed to do it due to some error.
