How do you click a button to fill in an email from access to lotus notes

I have this CRM database I am trying to create.  I am real beginner so any help would be appreciated.  I would like something in access where when we click a button in access it opens lotus notes,  and puts in the person its going to,  the subject,  the body of the email and any attachments if needs be.

How do you do something like this?  Like I mentioned I am a beginner.  I am not a programmer so any help would be great.

If I were in your shoes, I'd get a (free) CRM in Notes, e.g. http://www.openntf.org/main.nsf/project.xsp?r=project/VIC%20CRM%20for%20Notes
Ah, that's not what you intend to develop... Ok.

Here's one of the many examples of how to send a mail via Notes: http://www.fabalou.com/vbandvba/lotusnotesmail.asp

Do you know if what I asking for is possible?  I would prefer to use what we have already.

Yes, it's possible, but some programming cannot be avoided. For the code, see the 2nd link I added above.

Becuase I don't know code much.  If I add a button to my form do I attach that code to the button.  Then when I click the button will that automatically go the person that is showing on the form?

Oh no, the code is just part of what you have to add, there's more.

Earlier projects that touch the same idea:

PS Unfortunately for you, this is not a "rent-a-coder" site, we're not going to develop your code for you. The idea is that we help you with your own code, kindly pushing you in the right direction while you're learning and developing.

Good luck!

That is not a problem.  I just want to get the help to be able to do this.  SO if you can guide me in the right direction that is fine.  I've coded before, but it was in HTML.  Ill take a look at what you posted. I appreciate you helping.

I can see this is going to be way over my head to figure out.

Even with the code you posted.

That's what I guessed already... which is why I suggested to adopt a ready-made CRM. Maybe you should leave this point for a while, until you gained enough experience to do it yourself or ask a developer in your neighbourhood to do exactly what you want. I hope that'll be soon! Good luck!
