How to upgrade Firmware of HP Tape Library

Dear Experts,

recently our Symantec backup Exec stopped form communicating with HP Tape Library "HP StorageWorks Enterprise Modular Library E-Series".  that was due to upgrading the Symantec Backup exec 10 to R2 version.

After contacting Symantec support they advice to upgrade Firmware of the Tape Drive, because the "Medium Changer" Doesn't appear under Device Manager.  without this drive Tape library acts as stand alone device.  

My question is.  How can I upgrade the Firmware of our Tape Drive?

You need to download and install HP Library and Tape Tools.

It does a lot of great things, including diagnosing tape problems. But it can also check for firmware updates, download and apply them for you. Its a great free utility.

I found this download link. Not sure if it is the latest version though... this is 2011.
