How do I handle Wordpress links when trying to pass a variable in a url?

my wordpress link structure:
www;MYSITE.com/activate/

My activation link structure:
BASE_URLactivate.php?x=my%40domain.com&y=8b958c895e0d621af2d387669524219f

Can anyone show me hoe to make this work?

You would handle it like this, you would place your query parameters at the end of the WordPress URL structure like so:

http://www.MYSITE.com/activate/?x=my%40domain.com&y=8b958c895e0d621af2d387669524219f

Now you would simply need to include the coding to handle the activation in the template you used to create the http://www.MYSITE.com/activate/ page.
