Installation of code signing certificate

I'm having a problem moving a code signing certificate from one machine to another.  signtool says "no certificates found that match the criteria".  I installed the cert in the new machine using IE into the "Other People" tab.  I noticed on my old machine it is in "Personal".  However I cannot delete the cert on the new machine, says I don't have permission.  When I try to install it in "Personal" it seems to work, but does not show up. Help!

Why? I was given an export/import procedure by Symantec, and it has worked on other machines. I think this issue relates to registry access or user rights, but I can't figure it out.

The issue was that I was trying to export a certificate that I had already imported from a previous machine.  I had to go back to the original .pfx and that worked.
