delete and restore iis 7 site

I want to delete a site in IIS 7.0. The site is under the Default website. I actually have the site stopped and it's not needed, but just in case I want to be able to restore it. I have backup up iis via the cmd using "%windir%\system32\inetsrv\appcmd.exe add backup "My Backup Name"

but, I want to be able (if possible) to just be able to restore that site, not everything in IIS with the restore of the backup I did above. Just in case I delete this website and something happens I dont want to have to have the production default website go offline during that process. Thanks.

appcmd is not that granular it is an all or nothing item
