ShoreTel system

I am having a weird problem with our current shoretel system, I do not know if it is a PRI problem or shoretel? When I dialed a number, I have to hit # at the end to start dialing, otherwise it never dials. I hit 8 and I  can get a outside line but once I enter the 7 or 10 digits, it never dials out. Anybody expreienced this problem before?

It's the dial plan string in either the Phone or the Shoretel.  It's expecting n digits and if it sees less, then it will either send when you hit send (#) or timeout an send at some point.

do you know where i can go and check within shoretel? i do not think it is phone because it was working fine other location. i do not know where exactly to check within Shoretel

Sorry, I don't.  It's been a few years since I setup and worked with Shoretel.  Might try the Web site and see if there is a manual for your version of the software that talks about the dial plan.
