A user has deleted one of their outlook folders. I cannot recover the folder from the deleted items in outlook.

I need to restore the folder via Backup exec.

I have a daily backup to disk folder setup in BE that backs up my exchange enviroment.

I have attempted to restore the folder using the wizard in BE but the job fails in BE with 'failed to attach to resource'. i'm pointing the restore job toward the correct device (the backup to disk folder) and the device is online.

How do I restore this folder?

OS - SERVER 2003

EXCHANGE 2003

OUTLOOK 2003

Thanks.

You can configure the deleted folders recovery by following this article : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287070
Alternatively, you can try third party tool such as (http://www.restoreexchange.net/) which could be a better option in order to restore deleted items from available backup in previous version.
