Hi
I'd like to get a skeleton of my Python game working with lines in Tkinter.

- I'd like to know the correct download location and installation gotchas.
I have OS X 10.8

Must I just choose the 10.8 download on this page and think no more?

here

Why does it have recommended and alternate ?

Will it install Tkinter into my current python, or separately?
e.g. will Tkinter online demo code just work?

Thanks

Also, can TKinter be back buffered for their window graphics?

Thanks

Your questions (why) should be explained here - http://www.python.org/download/mac/tcltk/

If they are not, I'd raise the issue here - https://github.com/python/pythondotorg/issues?labels=content&page=1&state=open and additionally ask on python-list.
