SBS 2011 Essentials Network Slow

Hi there, any tips on anything I can turn off on the SBS Essentials box as clients complaining of slow network traffic since we upgraded the server. Server is Dell PowerEdge with 32GB memory and only holds data.

In your SBS box Have a look at the performance monitor,  And see if you can identify the Slow issue,  Look at the disk usage particularly Quite often this will cause a slow network performance.  if this is the case see if you can identify what cause the disk to be in heavy use.

also have  a look at the antivirus product in use and see if there are any application exclusions recommended.   the following, article can help with configuring exclusions.

Is it SBS 2011 or Essentials... they are not the same thing. SBS has a much different resource usage than Essentials.

You mentioned RAM but not what poweredge platform, specs. Did the performance issue occur from the start or is it a new behavior?

Fresh install or migration?

sorry...just need more info to assist you.
