CNN Videos and DNS issues

Strange issue:
We do not block CNN on our school network. Teachers use some of the videos in class. On Tuesday morning the videos quit working. When CNN website comes up the Videos will not display “they have a little X in upper left corner” and will not play if clicked on. Tried chrome and Firefox with same results. After extensive troubleshooting of our filter and firewall I have determined that it is a dns issue. We have two internal dns servers. If I remove them and static my computers using goggles public dns the videos work great.
What do I need to do in our dns so that CNN videos work?
