Hi all,

We have Exchange 2010 installed  and I am using the shared mailbox feature. I created a shared mailbox for our IT support and 6 users are using this shared mailbox.

I would like to know who sent a particular email since the sender is always it support. How can I check please?

Regards,

You can implement mailbox auditing and run audit reports to obtain details regarding actions taken on a mailbox. Once you enabled auditing, you can configure that in three levels :

1) Administrative, which audits mailbox moves, imports/exports to and from PSTs, mailbox  discovery searches and actions performed using the MFCMapi tool;
2) Owner, where actions taken by the owner of the mailbox are audited;
3) Delegates that have the SendAs, SendOnBehalf or FullAccess permission to someone else’s mailbox.
You can have a look on this link for complete processing : audit shared mailbox
