From an IMM, what path sould I take to install an ISO, for either VMWare or RHEL ?

You can use UpdateExpress in RHEL. VMware doesn't support online IMM update.

Create a BOMC iso if you need to update a VMware host.

If you have enough ESX hosts downtime should not be a concern.
