Are you doing a default save, or have you tried to do a File > Save As and manually choose the location?

Are you able to browse your My Documents and open a file (trying to determine if there might be some kind of network issue with the redirected location)?

Are there any other networking issues that might have been noticed?  I have seen, with file redirection, that if the redirected folder location can't be seen or connected to that you might receive a file save error.

Also, is this with just one user or multiple users?

ASKER

I have tried it both ways save as and save. I can browse to network folders and open anything just can not save.

This is only affecting one user and I don't see any other issues that I know of.

So If I log in to other computer as that user I have no issues.

So I wiped his profile and uninstalled office 2013. Log back in to his laptop but still having same issue.

Something in the register?
Update it is actually doing the same thing on spare computer I setup for user. Any ideas?
So it worked initially with the new profile, but then stopped again after a time?

Is the user able to browse to their folder and create a new notepad or wordpad document?

Or are they able to copy a file from their computer to the folder?

Have you looked at the rights on the folder and verified that the user has full rights?  Almost sounds like the user has read rights allowing them to open files and browse from the folder, but does not have write or modify rights to save to the folder?
