Hi,

I am receiving an error in SSRS, I have a parameter called rptID on the report. If I turn it to Visible I get an error on my aspx that has the report viewer control. If I change the parameter to hidden, the error goes away.

There error is - Public member 'AutoPostBack' on type 'TextParameterInputControl' not found.

When you have an SSRS report parameter and you set it to visible, the calling software (in this case your aspx) must supply a value for that parameter.  So, after changing your report, you must also change your source code to send the parameter's value when it runs the report.  For more information, please read How do I pass parameter TO SSRS report FROM ASP.NET page which has the reportviewer for the report
