I've imported several contacts to a new OU in my Server 2003 AD/Exchange 2003 environment and would like to create a New Address List on Exchange 2003 to be published to the GAL.  I'm having trouble making the contacts appear when I create the New Address List and reference the specific OU, it comes up blank.

Exchange 2003 doesn't really do multiple address lists very well. Therefore what you are seeing is what I would pretty much expect to see. Exchange 2003 expects one address list only and struggles with anything else, particularly with the use of OAB etc.

You also cannot use an OU as a filter in Exchange 2003, you would have to use some kind of attribute on the object.

I was able to do this by adding an entry into the Description field and using the Description attribute when creating the Address List.
