SBS 2008 Pop3/Imap 4 ssl cert mismatch

Just installed SBS 2008 with Exchange 2007 today. I bought an SSL from godaddy with our primary domain, mail.domainname.com, servername.domain.local, autodiscover, etc.

Exchange activesync connects great, and our OWA site is running. However, when I try to connect to our pop3/imap4 server, I either get certificate errors, or authentication errors. It keeps prompting for a password, or it pulls up the default Windows SSL cert of remote.domainname.com. How do I get the Pop3 connector to use the godaddy cert?

Did you install the certificate with the SBS wizards?
Have you included remote.example.com in the certificate as the common name?
If not to either or both of those, that is your problem.
If you don't want to use remote.example.com then you will have to step through the wizard in SBS to change it. Once you have done so, go through the SSL wizard to ensure that your trusted SSL certificate is installed correctly.

Yes, I used the wizards, but realized our ssl cert had the name of mail.domain.com instead of remote.mail.com. Once I ran the advanced setup of the wizard it allowed me to change it to mail. Thanks for the help!
