Hi EE,

I have this issue with vdsl HWIC card (EHWIC-VA-DSL-A ) not initialising on a 1941 router. I have configured the atm0/0/0.1 sub-interface and bind it with dialer0 using the dialer-group profile of 1.

I have rebooted the router, set the controllers vdsl0/0/0 ops mode to auto. Did all the tshoot steps to get the atm0/0/0 up but no luck.

Don’t know if anyone has come across this before. The routers firmware version is 15.3(2)T1

Any help much appreciated.

sh controllers vdsl 0/0/0
Controller VDSL 0/0/0 is DOWN

What is the output of "show version" from the perspective of installed hardware?

Its not the IOS(15.3.(2)T1), this module was supported since 15.1(3)T.  Do you have other WICs is the other slots?  Can you attach hardware listing?

the Cisco 1941 supports 2 enhanced High-Speed WAN Interface Card slots that can host 2 single wide or 1 double wide and 1 single wide (e)HWIC.
