I use SMTP server to send emails (CDOSYS), problem is that If i send an email with an attachment larger than 2 MB it times out and gives an error.
Where can I change the setting to allow bigger files to be emailed ?

You are talking two different issues here.  It sounds like you can mail a 2MB attachment, but then it times out..  Can you e-mail a 2MB attachment from the server itself?

You need to look at the size of course.. Then, timeout.

You need to look at both components in IIS.

The other thought that comes to mind is session state.

Anyone out there knows which setting is preventing an ASP application using SMTP to send an email larger than 2 MB ?
