Alternative to Crystal Reports

Am looking for an alternative to Crystal Reports to use within a VB.net application. I need to be able to print bar-code labels as well as reports. The application uses a MS SQL database that does most of the work to filter and extract the data for labels and reports.

Thanks in advance.

Why the alternative to Crystal?
Crystal can produce barcodes.

Since you have MS SQL Server you can try using MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

Visual Studio also has its own reporting tool which creates RDLC files.  I don't know if it can do bar codes.
