I have been having trouble getting this error to go away. When you first launch Software Center a window pops up stating &quot;There is a problem showing the current status&quot;, with additional information at the bottom stating &quot;Loading Software Center returned error code 0x80041001&quot;. <br />

The CM Client has been reinstalled with no positive effect.<br />

Running 2008R2 w/ SCCM 2012 SP1 CU2.

I have been having trouble getting this error to go away. When you first launch Software Center a window pops up stating "There is a problem showing the current status", with additional information at the bottom stating "Loading Software Center returned error code 0x80041001". 

The CM Client has been reinstalled with no positive effect.
