Server 2012

Hi,

I am setting up a shared folder for 5 users so they can have access to a stand alone server and besides setting up a shared folder (http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/data-center/how-to-share-a-folder-in-windows-server-2012/) I thought there was a way to setup a ftp link where the users can share files.  Maybe I am reading into this to much and should probably just setup a shared folder, create the 5 users with a temp password that they can change when they click on the link to access the shared folder for the first time, add them to a group, assign the group to the folder, and send out the link.

Tell me what do you think.

If you need grant only access to shared folder and no need to ftp connection.
Just share folder on the server and grant appropriate permission for some group where you put users. Then just create shortcut on their desktops or map new drive
