connect to remote server
delete contents of remote folder including sub folders
copy entire local directory tree up to the remote server

Another idea is to use a "Putty" type ftp app.
And use the SSIS Execute Process Task

I use WinSCP

Install Win SCP on the server where SSIS is running.
In the Execute Process Task put the path to the .exe in the Excecutable field
Then all the correct syntax for the Arguements field to connect, set paths for log files, source and destinations etc.
