New contact and Calendar items disappearing when entered into Shared Mailbox

We have opened a shared mailbox's contacts (or calendar) and entered a contact. The contact (or calendar item) appears to save and is visible for a few moments, then disappears. Any idea on what could be causing this?

Service packing the server did the trick.

check whether it is storing in your personal contact.

Did you check in Online mode/OWA?

I checked in OWA and the contact is not there. Although If I put a contact in thru OWA (logged onto the shared mailbox), it will show up on Outlook.

Applying the latest service packs/updates fixed the issue
