Saving a contact group - not going into my Contacts - Outlook 2010

hi
Have someone who was sent a list of Outlook contacts (New Contact Group) but when they saved them, they did not appear in their contacts...any reason why?

Outlook contacts - In which format is that list?
How did they saved?

OK, so list was sent as text and as vcard. Neither of them worked i.e. when the other person (in the same company) opened and saved it. It did not appear in his contacts..

So, the the person who will export the contacts must follow the exact details of this Microsoft article

...and the pesron who will add the contacts (pst file) will follow this article
