I have inherited a messy situation.

Please look at http://www.thesource-online.com/local-distributors.php.

Note the dropdown "Select a state". The customer wants to add a distributor in Louisiana.

I attach the source of local-distributors,php & local-distributors.php and Sprydata.js. Note in the 2nd file there is a dropdown of XML files for each state. Since Louisiana was 18, I found that file & edited it to add the new distributor. See attached 18.xml, I posted the NEW 18.xml on the site in the right folder.

When you run it it shows the old version. of course I did a refresh, still the same.

How can I get this change to "take"?

It is still probably a caching problem.  Secondary files get cached also but there is nothing in the main file to tell the browser they have been changed.  Open 'assets/xml/18.xml' directly in your browser and then go back to that page and see if it is now correct.

To Dave Baldwin,

If you open it, are there 5 distributors in Louisiana? Or 4?

Thanks

It is somehow a cacheing issue.

I opened it in Chrome, it's there.

Thanks,

Richard

Yes, I get 5 listed for Louisiana.  That page is hard for me to read with gray text on a gray background.  Contrast is kind of poor.
