How to disable or deactivate the replication on a database for sometime?

I would like to disable or deactivate the replication on a database for sometime. My database is configured as Publisher for replication.


Please suggest.

Are you trying to remove replication or just disable?  If you just want to temporarily disable all you have to do is stop the SQL Server Agent Replication jobs.
