Hi Experts

Further to a previous question, Previous post, I would like to expand on the solution to include a count of recorded responses on the final 'Charts' worksheet.

This information should be labelled 'Responses' and should appear in the top right corner of the worksheet just beneath the empty title field.

Thanks
Andy

This is the correct information but could it possibly be displayed beneath the empty title row.

Thanks

Thank you very much for clarifying what need to be done. I take it that there are two corrective action that need to take place.

1) Asker (and I am not pointing here to actual asker but asker in general) should post a sample workbook that is the basis of supporting document for the question. In  this case we cannot blame asker as it is clearly indicated that it is a follow to a previous question that has an attach workbook. But note is taken for future.

2) the solution provided has the workbook with the changes and yes it is quite intricate for someone who does not know the issue to know what was changed and how and for this I take full responsibility and will bring corrective action.

Thank you for noting this which will ensure well taken into consideration in future posts.

@andymacf

in the Sub CreateCharts here are the changes to the previous version you had:
I declared a variable Resp as long

I added after instruction
MaxRowChart = MaxRowChart + 1

this line
Resp = Resp + 1

and added after this line
Next I

these 3 lines
'---> Place total Resonses in I2
WSCharts.Range("I2") = "Responses: " & Resp
WSCharts.Range("I2").HorizontalAlignment = xlRight

This should do it. File updated attached.

Perfect, thanks gowflow.

Apologies for the difficulties caused with one of the fellow experts.  Is there anything I need to be aware of when posting future questions regarding my formatting.

Cheers

No I think you do fine as you fine as you clearly state what you need and you post workbook. I think its me who should over and above posting the final solution explain to whoever will read the post what was the solution proposed and what is the piece of code that was added and where so it is clear straight out what is the solution.

We should always remember that EE is an excellent forum where you can have specific questions and straight answers with a big panel of highly Experts that you cannot find anywhere on the web.

I personally use EE very often for my business developments and even when I have hard time finding solution and go on the web, I finally end up finding my solution back in EE. We wee need to keep this in mind both Experts and askers that the issue we are facing could also help lots of people reason why transparency and clearness is a must.

Tks your grades and feel free to post a link for any future question you may need help with.

Hi gowflow

It seems that the response total is not working correctly.  In the example posted, there are 65 responses, yet only 34 show in I2 on the Charts sheet.

Can you have a look please?

Thanks
Andy

I see you have 2 accounts ?

JCIE

will you be using both ? just for tracking purposes. I usually file all answers I give per the asker so I can follow at any time later and have the latest solution given.

If you will keep both no problem for me.
