Can LED replace metal halide ballast lightings in marine aquarium
This may be Off Topic.
I last maintain a marine aquarium about 15 years ago.
Ballast metal halide are very high energy consuming &
generates a lot of heat.
If I only plan to keep a fish plus anemone tank (without
corals), is there any LED lighting out there that could
keep my anemones thriving. I read that anemones
need lightings too but not as much as corals.
Pls recommend specific brands/makes of LED for a 2 feet
marine tank with the Kelvin specifications. Any specific
spectrum (like Actinic blue or red spectrum) is appreciated
