hot plug cpu/memory in vsphere

hello,

how can i make upgrade for memory and cpu while it's working without shut it down in my vcenter for linux (rehat 5) my esx version is 5.1 ?????

On the physical system?  
You can't. The power needs to be OFF and UNPLUGGED from the wall.
Otherwise you will fry something (maybe everything).

Then as you already found out, some Virtual Machines will let you change specs on the fly.
But since I don't deal with VM's in my work, I can't help you with this one.
